Asphalt roofs usually start showing signs of aging between seven to ten years. The shingle’s granular coating starts washing into the gutters as the essential oils dry up, losing the ability to hold the granular in place.

PRI Asphalt Technologies Inc, one of the largest shingle and asphalt testing labs in the world, tested our bio-based product and concluded that treated shingles had 86% better granular adhesion and 40% better fire retardancy on treated shingles versus untreated. Our treatment also waterproofs the surface, suffocates moss, increases shingle flexibility, helps to keep granular in place, making the shingles last longer, keeping them on your roof where they belong.
